Learn The Zen Of Change By Investing In Your Education

As technology moves at a break-neck pace we must ask ourselves often, “Am I relevant?”  The skill set you command is the difference between success and failure these days.  Of course, everyone’s idea of success is different and there is much to learn by failing.  Adapting and evolving is more important now than ever before.  You must continue learning!  I am famished when it comes to information and recently made a promise to myself – further my spirituality by way of change, personal investments and education, be it life or formal classes.

A great story enthralls you.  A great song exudes emotion.  The process of learning is entertainment for the mind.  The more knowledge you have of your interests the better you can pursue them.  With the advancement of technology information is more available than ever before.  Want to know how to replace the truss-rod on your guitar, “Google-it.”  Need to cook for 30 people taking into consideration food allergies, preferences and your picky aunt, “Google-it.”  Want to know how to use Google as a verb click here.  Need to learn where to find the best investment for your future – Google, “education.”

I recently completed a Mini-MBA program in DIGITAL MARKETING at RUTGERS UNIVERSITY Center for Management Development.  The class was excellent.  Interesting lectures with top talent leaders in their field entertained and informed.  “Now” topics like SEO, Social Marketing and Measuring Marketing’s ROI, were opened up and examined at length.  The Zen of going back to school for one week is still with me.  Learning this information was an investment in my interests, future work and living today.  Any business, art, service and idea demanding attention stands to gain from understanding these topics thoroughly.

I titled this blog (my first ever!), Learning The Zen Of Change By Investing In Your Education because personally, educating fosters a sense of empowerment – the same as learning through experience – a satisfied soul creates a platform of positivity.  As a song writer, back-in-the-saddle publicist, sale-coordinator and neurotic analyzer my search toward creative fulfillment is undying.  The ZEN of equipping myself with the right tools for this life long pursuit is surrounded by change of what is relevant to now.  Here is a quote about this very moment.  Take care.
